After the house on the small island of Sebatik finally received a toilet with a septic tank in 2019, thus significantly improving hygienic conditions, it was possible to purchase a powerful solar system at the end of 2021. This was also financed by donations. A small contribution came from Hendra. A connection to the power grid on Sebatik (overhead lines) was not possible for cost reasons, as the hut is very remote in hilly terrain. Now the housework can be done there without candlelight or gasoline generator even after dark. There is no electricity bill!
